The Laramie River Dude Ranch - Colorado

The Laramie River Dude Ranch is located in north central Colorado just six miles from the Wyoming border. Click here for downloadable directions and a map.  The high mountain passes close in winter leaving valley residents isolated from the rest of Colorado. This makes Laramie, Wyoming, 42 miles away, our "local" community. We even have a Wyoming postal address.

The Laramie River flows north from Colorado's Rawah Mountains into Wyoming. Two miles of the river flow through the ranch providing great fishing and horseback riding opportunities. Fly fishing instruction available.
Relax and take in the views!
The roads turn to gravel as you cross the Wyoming border into Colorado. Our ranch is secluded, offering guests a glimpse of Colorado as it has looked for a hundred years.
The valley is productive agriculturally. We grow hay and graze yearlings during the summer. Our neighbors raise cattle, buffalo (American Bison, actually), and hay.
